Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. From a very young age, her dental doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of drama and theater. It was this love which trumped her original desire to be the first primatologist. The early success of her career and the rapid rise in fame made her a promising young actor. Following her graduation, she participated in the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her acting career. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church when she was a child and was raised Catholic. She is now separating herself from this background. In addition to acting, she pursued modelling and was the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Photographing is also a obsession and she was recently shown her work in the Arles festival under the name Superficial.
